Senior Hotel Receptionist
Located on the New Mallow road, Great National Commons Inn Hotel is
only 2 miles from the centre of Cork city and 4 miles from Blarney

applicants for the position of Senior Hotel Receptionist to join our
dynamic team.

Working as part of a busy front office operation, this role is crucial
for the everyday running of the hotel as it provides the link between
all departments and is the main port of call for customers. The
successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager and will
be responsible for the efficient running of the Front Office through
managing their front office team, leading the experiences our guests
at check in, check out and during their stay.

As the first point of contact for our guests within the hotel, you
will be an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly person who can provide a

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service through greeting and
welcoming guests on their arrival and departure to and

from the hotel

including opening hours, service times and be fully knowledgeable of
local amenities.

operations are carried out in line with Department and Hotel standards
which contributes to the overall strategic running of

are correct and that payment is processed as per hotel policy

on a regular basis and update them with relevant information, in
particular room status.

that billing is accurate and correct.

making sure that the new and existing team members are properly
trained

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

? Have previous Senior Receptionist experience in Front Office
operations, ideally in a 4/5 star hotel.

? Be a team player with the ability to multi task and have excellent
presentation skills with a fine eye for detail.

? Be a people person with excellent leadership, communication and
motivational skills

? Have the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
